Chichibu Paris Edition 2026 is a Japanese single malt vatted from 14 casks: first and second-fill bourbon barrels, Oloroso sherry hogsheads and new American white oak casks. It is lightly peated and bottled at 50.5%, without chill-filtration or added colour. The Collection Monet puts the same whisky under six painted labels. The yellow Jaune label shows Claude Monet's The Japanese Bridge from 1896, and 414 of the 2,484 bottles carry it, numbered 1 to 414. It comes in a 70cl bottle. The nose is of candied lemon, pear, mirabelle and coconut, with pine resin and almond syrup. The palate brings lemon, apple jelly and candied pear, then malt and white grape. The finish is soft, with coconut, rice pudding, pineapple and liquorice.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
