This is the Rose label of the Chichibu Paris Edition 2026, part of the Collection Monet. The single malt combines whisky from 14 casks, aged between six and twelve years: first- and second-fill bourbon barrels, oloroso sherry hogsheads and new American white oak. It is lightly peated and bottled at 50.5%. The same whisky appears under six Claude Monet labels. Rose shows his 1900 painting The Water Lily Pond, and 414 of the 2,484 bottles carry it. The nose is fine and smooth, with almost candied lemon, pear, mirabelle and coconut, then pine resin and almond syrup. The palate opens with lemon, apple jelly and candied pear, then alfalfa-like herbs and malt. The finish is soft and full, with coconut, rice pudding, pineapple and chalky minerality.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
