Chichibu – The Peated 2022 Ichiro's Malt (70cl, 53.5%)

Chichibu The Peated 2022 is a Japanese single malt from the Ichiro's Malt range, made with peated malt and bottled at 53.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is an edition of around 11,000 bottles, matured in a mix of cask types, and it is non-chill-filtered and natural in colour. The nose has smoke, apple, peach and vanilla, with slightly medicinal and malty touches. On the palate come citrus, caramel and spice alongside clear peat smoke. The finish is long, spicy and smoky, with a fine sweetness and freshness.
