Chichibu – World Blended Whisky Limited Edition Ichiro's Malt (70cl, 48%)

A limited edition world blended whisky from the Chichibu distillery in Japan, bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle. Ichiro Akuto married Japanese malt with whiskies from his stock of international malt and grain whiskies. The nose combines apple pie, corn, honey, vanilla and caramel, with white pepper and a hint of sawdust. On the palate come baking spices, salt, white pepper and fresh ginger, alongside sweetened lemon, apple pie, banana and raisins. The finish is fruity and spicy, with banana, fresh apple, sawdust and a touch of white pepper.
