Chief's Son – 900 Sweet Peat Single Cask (70cl, 45%)

A single cask peated malt whisky from Chief's Son, bottled at 45% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in ex-fortified French oak barrels. The style is a mild, modern take on peat rather than a heavy, aggressive one, with sweet malt and floral peat at its heart. A little water is suggested to bring out the richness of the sweet malts. It is described as sweet, silky and creamy, with a long finish.
