Chief's Son – Cask Expression Stout Cask (70cl)

Cask Expression Stout Cask is an Australian single malt from Chief's Son, in a 70cl bottle. It is the first release in the distillery's Cask Expression series, made in partnership with a brewery. The whisky was matured in an Old French Oak barrel that had previously held Mornington Peninsula Brewery's Russian Imperial Stout. Into it went the distillery's 900 Standard Single Malt. The distillery describes the result as a malt of great intensity and balance, with the smoothness and depth of stout.
