This is Chivas 12 Years Old, a Scotch blended whisky from Chivas Brothers, in a 1 litre bottle at 40% ABV.
It is described as soft and balanced on the nose, with a mix of wild herbs and white-flower fruit such as peach. On the palate come heather honey and ripe apples, along with vanilla, hazelnut and caramel, over a creamy, subtle texture.
The finish is long and intense, and very persistent.
