Chivas Regal 13 Year Old Tequila Cask Finish (70cl, 40%)

This is a 13 year old blended Scotch from Chivas Regal, made from malt and grain whiskies and bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The version with new-look presentation dates from 2024. After the main maturation, part of the blend is finished in casks that previously held tequila, then returned to the blend. The extra cask stage deepens the soft, fruity side of the whisky without giving it a tequila flavour. The nose combines sweet vanilla with lively citrus. On the palate the vanilla is light and fruity, with fresh grapefruit and tropical pineapple. The finish is soft and round.
