Chivas Regal Extra 13 is a 13 year old blended Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle, at 40% ABV. A portion of the blend has been matured in Oloroso sherry casks.
The name looks back to the Chivas brothers' emporium at 13 King Street in Aberdeen, where spirits, exotic spices and luxury foods were imported from around the world.
The sherry casks add their own characteristics to the Chivas blend, bringing new and contrasting flavour notes and magnifying its sweet, rich character.
