Chiyomusubi Craft Amarone Cask Finish Pure Malt Japanese Whisky (70cl, 43%)

Chiyomusubi Craft Amarone Cask Finish is a Japanese pure malt whisky from Chiyomusubi Brewery in Tottori. It is bottled at 43% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. The whisky is made entirely from malt whisky. It was matured in ex-Port casks, then finished in Italian Amarone wine casks, which add floral aromas, red berries, cranberry, honey, dried fruit and warming spice. The nose combines floral aromas with berries, baked custard, white pepper and sweet malt. On the palate it is smooth and fruit-forward, with cranberry, honey, red berries and malt sweetness. The finish is long and gently sweet, with dried and candied fruit and lingering spice.
