Faemussach is a peated 21 year old single malt from the Benriach distillery, bottled by Chorlton. It was distilled in 2001, matured in an ex-bourbon barrel and bottled in 2022 at 56% ABV. The outturn was 313 bottles.
The nose is fruity, with red fruit, hay and a little vanilla, and a subtle smoke that grows. On the palate come coffee with milk, honey and honeycomb, then spiced biscuits and burnt wood. The finish is balanced and complex, with smoky vanilla.
