Churchill's 30 Years Old Tawny is a tawny port from Churchill's, a family-run house in Vila Nova de Gaia and the Douro valley. The wines age in used oak casks for an average of 30 years before being blended in the house style.
The grapes are picked by hand, sorted twice and trodden by foot at Quinta da Gricha.
It is light amber to copper in the glass. The nose offers caramel and cedar with hints of fresh dark berries. The palate is elegant and soft, pairing freshness with age, with dried fruit, orange peel, flowers and menthol. The finish is long and velvety.
