Churchill's Reserve Port

Churchill's Reserve Port is a young, fruity port with a good level of natural acidity, and it is the house's signature blend. The wines are made in traditional granite lagares, spend their first winter in the Douro, then move to the cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia. There they age for three years in used oak casks, blended and refreshed each year. The port is cold-stabilised and filtered, so it is ready to drink without further time in bottle. It is dark red with violet tinges. Fresh blueberries, eucalyptus and cistus come through on the nose, and the palate is lively and balanced.
