Cierto Reserve Collection Reposado Tequila (75cl)

A reposado tequila from Cierto, produced at NOM 1146, the Tequileña distillery in Jalisco. It is made from estate-grown Highlands Blue Weber agave, cooked in low-pressure autoclaves, roller mill extracted, fermented in stainless steel with natural spring water, and twice distilled through copper pot stills. It rests for 11 months in French Limousin oak. Drinkhacker rated it A, praising bold yet well-integrated notes of sweet vanilla, fresh lime, red pepper, black pepper, roasted agave and caramel, with milk chocolate on the finish. The World Tequila Awards praised smoky agave and nuts on the nose, butterscotch on the palate, full texture and a delicate hint of milk chocolate in a smooth and balanced finish.
