Clase Azul Reposado Tequila (175cl, 40%)

Clase Azul Reposado is a reposado tequila from Jalisco, Mexico, in a 1.75 litre bottle at 40% vol. It is made from Tequilana Weber Blue Agave, grown organically, which is cooked slowly in traditional ovens for a minimum of 72 hours. Fermentation uses the distillery's own yeast strain, and the tequila is distilled in copper pot stills and filtered three times. It is then aged for a minimum of eight months in oak barrels. It is intense amber in colour. The taste is of cooked agave, wood, fruit, vanilla and toffee caramel, all very smooth and none of it overwhelming.
