Clos Martin VSOP is an Armagnac with an eight-year age statement, a grape brandy from Gascony in France. Armagnac is France's oldest grape brandy, and this bottling sits at 40% abv.
The ageing brings together supple oak, orchard fruit and gentle spice in a smooth, well-rounded style. It can be taken neat or used in a brandy cocktail.
On the palate there is dried apricot, vanilla, light oak and warm spice, with a smooth body. The finish is mellow, warm and clean.
