Clydeside 7 Year Old 2019 ex-Madeira Cask Finish – Cask #F19 (55%)

This is a 7 year old single cask Clydeside, a Lowland single malt distilled in 2019 and finished in an ex-Madeira cask. It is bottled at a cask strength of 55% ABV, in an outturn of 338 bottles. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring. Clydeside Distillery stands on the River Clyde in Glasgow, in the old Pumphouse at Queen's Dock. It opened in 2017 under Tim Morrison, and uses Scottish barley and water from Loch Katrine. The Madeira finish is described as bringing candied fruit, citrus, toffee, caramel and gentle oak spice.
