Clydeside – Fortnight 6 Year Old Peated (70cl, 46%)

Clydeside Fortnight is a peated single malt from the Clydeside distillery in Glasgow, and the first peated release from the distillery. The name refers to the two weeks each year when peated spirit is made, using 100% Scottish barley malted with Highland peat. It matured for more than six years in oak casks and is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and without added colour. The nose has gentle smoke over ripe stone fruit and vanilla. Bright citrus and heather honey come through on the palate, and the finish shows warm spices and earthy peat.
