Clydeside – Napier 6 Year Old Sherry Cask Matured (70cl, 46%)

Napier is a six-year-old Lowland single malt from the Clydeside distillery in Glasgow. It takes its name from Robert Napier, known as the father of Clyde shipbuilding. The spirit is made with water from Loch Katrine and Scottish barley, then matured for at least six years in Oloroso sherry casks. It is bottled at 46%, non-chill-filtered and without added colour. The nose is ripe berries, sweet rose and tropical fruit. On the palate come orange marmalade, cherry and vanilla, with a creamy sweetness. The finish is warm, with clove and ginger.
