Clydeside – Napier 6 Years (70cl, 46%)

Clydeside Napier is a 6 year old Lowland single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 46% ABV. It was matured only in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks and is bottled at natural colour and without chill-filtration. It joined the Clydeside range three and a half years after the distillery's first single malt, and is named after Robert Napier (1791-1876), known as the father of Clyde shipbuilding. The nose offers ripe berries, sweet rose and tropical hints. The palate brings orange marmalade, cherry and vanilla, and the finish carries warming clove and ginger.
