Clydeside Napier (70cl, 46%)

Clydeside Napier is a Lowland single malt Scotch whisky from The Clydeside Distillery in Glasgow, in a 70cl bottle at 46% abv. It is the second bottling in the distillery's range and is named after Robert Napier, founder of the shipyard that stood across from the distillery. The whisky matured for more than six years in Oloroso sherry casks. The nose offers red fruit, orange, rose water, spice and toffee. The palate has an oily texture and a fresh, spicy start, with orange marmalade, brown sugar, chocolate and clove. The finish is dry, with touches of ginger and vanilla.
