Clydeside Stobcross Batch 2 (70cl, 46%)

Stobcross Batch 2 is a single malt from The Clydeside Distillery, a young Lowland distillery in Glasgow. It is named after the street that once led to the city's Queens Dock, where the distillery now stands in the dock's former pump house. The whisky matured in a selection of bourbon and sherry casks and is a little over four years old. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The distillery points to a long fermentation and a gentle distillation with high cut points. The nose is floral, with a fresh sweetness and tropical tones. The palate brings orchard fruits and hints of white pepper.
