Clydeside – Stobcross Bourbon Cask Matured (70cl, 46%)

Clydeside Stobcross is a Lowland single malt Scotch whisky, matured entirely in bourbon casks and bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is the first single malt from the modern Clydeside distillery, which is housed in the former pumphouse of 1877 at Queen's Dock in Glasgow. The name comes from the historic Stobcross estate. The whisky is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The nose is floral with a fresh sweetness and a hint of tropical fruit. On the palate there are orchard fruits such as apple and pear, with a touch of white pepper and a soft, clear texture.
