Clynelish 10 Years Old Special Release 2023 is a limited edition single malt from the Northern Highlands of Scotland. It was matured in ex-bourbon and refill American oak casks and bottled at a cask strength of 58.4% ABV. A few drops of water can be added to explore it further.
On the nose there is sea breeze, lanolin and green apple, with honey and a little peat smoke. The palate is medium-bodied, with beeswax, lemon zest, salted caramel and dried herbs. The finish is long, with cracked black pepper and a salty, maritime note.
