An 11-year-old Clynelish single malt matured in a refill hogshead and bottled by North Star Spirits as number 028. The refill hogshead gives the distillate room to show its usual character, while adding fine, elegant cask accents.
Spice, wax and light fruit form the core of the flavour, joined by an unexpectedly exotic note that is not often found in the glass.
