Clynelish 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt bottled as part of Diageo's Special Releases 2022, at 58.5% ABV. It was finished in Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez casks, which bring a spicier side to the distillery's usual fruity, waxy style.
The label shows Felis sylvestris, the Scottish wild cat that roams the land around the distillery.
The nose has fruit, herbs and scented oak spice. The palate is rich and sweet, with wine flavours entwined with pepper spice.
