Clynelish 18 Year Old is part of the 2025 Special Releases, bottled at a natural cask strength of 51.6%. It was matured in refill casks, which let the distillery's waxy, coastal character show, and it includes whiskies from Clynelish's distillation cut point experiments.
The nose has beeswax, lychee, mangosteen and pineapple. The palate is silky and refined, with lemon oil, tropical fruit, vanilla and warm spice. The finish is medium to long and spicy, leading to a fresh, fruity aftertaste.
