Clynelish – 2014 11 Year Old German Exclusive Bourbon Hogshead Càrn Mòr Strictly Limited (70cl, 55.6%)

This Clynelish was distilled in 2014 and matured in a bourbon hogshead until November 2025, when it was bottled after eleven years at 55.6% in a 70cl bottle. It is a German Exclusive single cask from the Càrn Mòr Strictly Limited series, with 265 bottles. Càrn Mòr is the independent range of Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers, and its bottlings are not chill-filtered or coloured. Clynelish was founded in 1819 near Brora on the north-east coast of the Highlands. The nose has fresh orange peel and light fruit with vanilla and a fine honey sweetness. The palate is velvety and balanced, with citrus, vanilla and light fruit. The finish is lasting and fresh, with citrus and a warm honey sweetness.
