Cock of the Walk Proprietor's Reserve is a small-batch wheated bourbon aged around 7 years and bottled at 56% ABV (112 proof). It is produced by Preservation Distillery and was sourced and assembled in Bardstown, Kentucky.
The high-wheat bourbon is matured in char #4 American oak barrels.
The nose is layered, with almond toffee, caramel candy, baked apples, dried peaches, red cherries, cloves and cardamom. The palate is rich and velvety, with vanilla pudding, stone fruit, light cinnamon and toasted wheat. The finish brings warm oak and subtle spice.
