Colli Pesaresi Sangiovese DOC Notestellate Cesare Mariotti

A red wine made exclusively from Sangiovese, from the hills around Pesaro in the Marche. It has an intense ruby red colour with slightly garnet reflections. The nose offers small red fruits, light spice and a delicate background of aromatic herbs. On the palate it is robust but harmonious, with mature tannins and persistent freshness. It is vinified traditionally, with controlled fermentation and maturation in oak barrels. It pairs with pasta with ragù, roast meats and aged cheeses.
