Rosso Marche IGT from Cesare Mariotti, known as Osterosso, is a red wine from the Marche hills. It has an intense ruby red colour with violet reflections. The nose offers ripe red fruit, cherry and plum, with spicy notes and a light vanilla touch from wood ageing. On the palate it is robust yet harmonious, with balanced acidity and soft tannins, and a persistent finish with warmth, red fruit and spice. It suits red meat, game and aged cheese, and is best served at 18-20°C.
