Compass Box Art & Decadence (70cl, 49%)

Art & Decadence is a limited edition blended Scotch whisky from Compass Box, bottled at 49% in a 70cl bottle. It takes its inspiration from the mid-19th century, a decadent period of gold and glitter. The blend is built on Balmenach whisky, matured in Madeira, Sauternes and Marsala casks, with Linkwood, Glen Moray and Port Dundas added. The nose is rich and aromatic, with red apple, polished wood and wine notes, then creamy liquorice, banana, toffee and Sauternes custard. The palate brings dried fruit, golden raisins, apricot, apple and plenty of vanilla. The finish has dark chocolate and a touch of oak.
