Compass Box Brûlée Royale Blended Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 49%)

Compass Box Brûlée Royale is a blended malt Scotch whisky made from Clynelish and Benrinnes. It takes its inspiration from François Massialot, the French court cook who wrote the first crème brûlée recipe. It was matured in custom-made American oak casks and first-fill bourbon barrels. It is bottled at 49% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and with natural colour. The nose is vanilla, caramelised sugar, honey and coconut. The palate brings clotted cream, sugar brittle, tarte tatin and banana split. The finish is silky, sweet and lingering, with nutmeg and vanilla cream.
