Compass Box Chez Lion Bespoke Release (70cl, 46%)

This is a blended Scotch whisky from Compass Box, made as the Chez Lion bespoke release in collaboration with Jörg Meyer of Le Lion – Bar de Paris in Hamburg. Meyer created it in London, and head whiskymaker James Saxon developed the blend with cocktails in mind. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The blend draws on whisky from Linkwood and Cameronbridge together with Compass Box's Spice Tree, matured in sherry, bourbon and Moscatel casks. It is non-chill-filtered, without added colour and limited to 1,710 bottles. It is described as combining rich notes of nuts and fruit with creamy cocoa and a subtle oak spice.
