Compass Box Crimson Casks is a Scotch blended malt with a strength of 46%. Its maturation centres on red wine barriques and sherry-seasoned butts from Bodega Jose y Miguel Martín in Jerez, Spain, whose casks inspired the expression.
The whisky is described as rich, full and spicy. A suggested serve is a small measure poured over ice cream, bringing out fig and cinnamon flavours.
