Compass Box Experimental Blended Grain Whisky (46%)

This is a limited edition blended grain whisky from Compass Box, bottled at 46% ABV. John Glaser and team built it on a batch of Loch Lomond whisky made entirely from peated malted barley but distilled in a Coffey still, so it cannot be called a malt. Compass Box describes it as a single grain. The blend adds fruity grain from North British, spicy and sweet single grain from Cameronbridge, and the creamy Compass Box blended grain Hedonism. It is described with notes of pear, vanilla and smoke.
