Compass Box Flaming Heart 2022 (48.9%)

Flaming Heart 2022 is a limited release blended malt Scotch whisky from Compass Box, bottled at 48.9% ABV. It is the seventh edition of Flaming Heart, a whisky built on heavy peat and toasted French oak. The smoke comes from malts from Laphroaig, Caol Ila and Talisker. A Highland malt blend spent more than five years in heavily toasted, custom-made French oak casks. For the 2022 version, the blenders added a deep fruitiness to the arrangement. The result is described as round, spicy and rich.
