Compass Box Hedonism Felicitas (70cl, 53%)

Hedonism Felicitas is a blended grain whisky made by Compass Box to celebrate twenty years of its Hedonism. It brings together three Scottish grain whiskies: North British, Strathclyde and Port Dundas, a distillery that has since closed. The whisky was matured in first-fill bourbon barrels and re-charred barriques, then bottled in 2020 at 53% abv in a 70cl bottle. The outturn was 2,226 bottles. The nose offers tropical fruit, vanilla cream, coconut and caramelised sugar. The palate is smooth, with pineapple, mango, crème brûlée and gentle spice. The finish is long and soft, with vanilla and toasted wood.
