Compass Box Peat Monster (70cl, 46%)

Peat Monster is a blended malt from Compass Box, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. Peat smoke is its defining character, and it is often seen as a nod to the peaty whiskies of Islay. The nose combines bonfire smoke and sea air with citrus, green apple, caramel and oak. On the palate, full-bodied peat smoke sits alongside sweet malt, vanilla and spice. The finish is long and spicy, with dark chocolate and a light saltiness.
