This is a Convalmore single malt distilled in 1975 and bottled in 2021 for Gordon & MacPhail's Private Collection, in a 70cl bottle at 47.8%. It was matured in a refill American hogshead.
The nose brings orange sherbet and lemon peel, then rhubarb, rose petal, lime bitters and mature oak. The palate offers lemon drizzle cake, orange oil, toasted almonds, honeysuckle, a soft herbal note and brown sugar. The finish is full and creamy, with lingering citrus and vanilla pod.
