Cooper King Red Wine Cask Bordeaux Single Malt (70cl, 52.8%)

Cooper King Red Wine Cask: Bordeaux is an English single malt from the distillery's Cask Series of micro-batch whiskies. It is the Autumn 2026 release, bottled at cask strength, 52.8%, in 243 numbered bottles. Four small 110-litre French oak casks were married for it. Three arrived wet from Château Batailley in Bordeaux, and the fourth was a refill Merlot cask that had held Cooper King whisky. The spirit stayed in them for its whole maturation, between four years and four years seven months. It is non-chill filtered and natural in colour. The nose offers spiced poached pear, cut flowers, raspberry coulis and white chocolate. On the palate come dried fruit, bay leaf, baking spice and citrus zest, and the finish turns to caramel, rich malt and Battenberg cake.
