Copperworks 3 Year Old Batch 2 (That Boutique-y Whisky Company) (50cl, 62.7%)

This is Batch 2 of a three-year-old single malt from Copperworks Distillery in Seattle, selected and bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company for its USA Series. It comes from a run of 275 bottles at a natural cask strength of 62.7%, in a 50cl bottle. It is not chill-filtered and has no added colouring. The label follows the series style of old baseball cards and shows Copperworks co-founder Jason Parker playing third base. The nose has rich malt and dark orange marmalade on toast, with leather, cedar and woody spice. The palate is full and strong, with spicy oak, toasted grain bread, orange oil, coffee and chocolate. The finish is long, with leather and bitter citrus peel.
