Year of the Tiger is a 6 year old single malt from Corowa Distilling in New South Wales, Australia, bottled at 46% ABV in a 50cl bottle.
It was aged in an ex red wine Pinot Noir cask sourced locally from the Rutherglen wine region. The cask was resized down to 55 litres, then shaved, toasted and charred to the distillery's specification.
The six years in this smaller cask are meant to round out the whisky while giving it a full-bodied flavour.
