Flaxen Vale is the Harvest Series release from Cotswolds Distillery, a single malt from England bottled at 53.9% in a 70cl bottle. It is batch 01/2023, and 3,500 bottles were produced in total. The whisky is a vatting of American oak Pedro Ximénez sherry casks and Spanish oak Oloroso sherry casks. The Harvest Series pairs each year's single malt with a painting by a local artist, and the artwork for this edition is a landscape by Annabel Playfair, who lives in the Cotswolds. The whisky is not chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
