Crabbie Chain Pier Edinburgh Single Malt 2019 (70cl, 57.8%)

This is a single cask, cask strength single malt from the Chain Pier Distillery in Granton, Edinburgh, bottled at 57.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in 2019 and matured for 3 years in an Australian Shiraz cask. The cask yielded 290 bottles, and this is bottle number 225. It is the second cask released exclusively for Milroy's of Soho. Chain Pier produced the first single malt in Edinburgh for over a century, yet closed before releasing any Scotch whisky of its own. Crabbie's owners, Halewood, made small amounts of spirit there between 2018 and 2019 while building the Bonnington distillery. Only 39 casks were filled, distilled in a 500 litre copper pot still.
