Cragganmore – 12 Year Old (70cl, 40%)

Cragganmore 12 Year Old is a Speyside single malt, matured in ex-bourbon casks and bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is the Speyside representative in the Classic Malts Selection. Its character comes from floral aromas, pronounced malt and restrained smoke. The body is firm and round, of light to medium weight. It is chill-filtered and has added colour. The nose has sweet blossom, herbs and riverbank flowers, with some honey and vanilla. Strong malt leads the palate, with fine touches of sweet wood smoke and sandalwood. The finish is long and malty, with light smoke and a subtle sweetness.
