This is a 10 year old single cask Craigellachie from Douglas Laing's Provenance range. It was distilled in December 2012 and bottled in August 2023 at 46% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and natural in colour. The whisky comes from one refill hogshead, DL18155, which gave 345 bottles. The nose offers fresh orchard fruits, honeyed barley and cough-drops. On the palate, ripe plum and blackcurrant meet sweet baking spices. The finish moves from creme caramel and dark chocolate to pecan pie and lingering stem ginger.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
