Craigellachie 13 Year Old is a Speyside single malt from a distillery built in 1891 in Banffshire, between Rothes and Dufftown. It stands high on the rock of Craigellachie.
The nose has a gentle earthiness with almonds, Granny Smith apple, raisins and a hint of vanilla pod. In the mouth it is clean and malty, with soft herbs and a slight smokiness. The finish is unexpectedly long, with candied sugar and white grapefruit zest.
