Craigellachie 13 Year Old is a Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle. The distillery still cools its spirit in traditional worm tubs, which gives a fuller, oilier and sturdier distillate.
The nose brings toasted marshmallow, baked apple, fresh citrus and warm spice such as clove, with a touch of smoke and a mineral note. The palate is rich and creamy, with grilled pineapple, ripe mango, vanilla, biscuit and gentle oak spice. The finish is long and warming, the fruit fading into light smokiness and a savoury edge.
