Craigellachie – 16 Year Old 2010 Bourbon Hogshead PX Sherry Finish A.D. Rattray Cask Collection (55.8%)

This is a 16-year-old Craigellachie single malt from Speyside, bottled by A.D. Rattray for its Cask Collection. It was distilled on 17 February 2010 and spent more than twelve years in a bourbon hogshead, followed by a finish of over 42 months in a PX sherry barrique. Bottled on 27 February 2026 at 55.8% from a single cask, it yielded 265 bottles, without chill-filtration or added colour. The nose has creamy herb butter, marzipan and juicy sour cherries, with dark fruit behind. The palate brings toasted bread and malt sugar, zesty orange and layered spice, with the PX adding fruit and sweetness. The finish is long and warming.
